Light roast coffee
A light roast comes out of the roaster earlier, still light brown and matte, so you taste more of the coffee itself, from where it was grown to how it was processed. The lighter the roast, the more acidic the cup. Roasters often sell their light roasts for filter, and some sell one for espresso too.
