Built around a blueberry co-fermented lot from Simalem Organic Farm in Karo, North Sumatra, this blend showcases a side of Indonesian coffee rarely seen outside the country. Through co-fermentation with blueberry, the coffee develops vibrant berry sweetness, lifted fruit aromatics and a playful bubblegum character that sets it apart from traditional espresso profiles.
To create a more balanced and versatile cup, we paired it with a washed coffee produced by Yolan Tirta in Sulawesi. The result is a lighter espresso blend that retains the excitement of co-fermentation while delivering the structure and clarity needed for everyday drinking.
As a black coffee, expect notes of blueberry, blackcurrant and bubblegum with a silky body and lingering sweetness. With milk, the fruit character becomes softer and more integrated, reminiscent of blueberry muffin, berry yoghurt and sweet cream.
Designed specifically for milk-based drinks, Blueberry Muffin offers a fresh perspective on Indonesian espresso.
